About RT Rajasthan
RT Rajasthan is a small, single-purpose website built around one tool: the Rajasthan Land Calculator & Unit Converter.
What this website is
rterajasthan.com exists to do one thing well — help people convert between Rajasthan’s traditional land measurements (like Bigha and Biswa) and standard units (like Acre, Hectare and Square Feet), and to calculate land area from simple dimensions. It’s not a general property portal, a news site, or a blog. It’s a calculator, built around one specific need.
Why it was created
Land measurement in Rajasthan mixes traditional units with standard ones, and the traditional units aren’t uniform across the state — a Bigha in one district isn’t necessarily the same size as a Bigha in another. That makes quick, everyday conversions harder than they should be. This site was built to make those conversions faster and clearer, while being upfront about where the numbers are solid and where they depend on local convention.
What the calculator does
The Rajasthan Land Calculator converts land values between Bigha, Biswa, Biswansi, Acre, Hectare, Square Feet, Square Yard/Gaj, Square Meter and Are. It also includes a simple area calculator for working out a plot’s size from its length and width. Where a traditional unit depends on district or local convention, the calculator asks you to confirm the relevant district or Bigha type rather than assuming one fixed value for the whole state.
Who can use it
Anyone who needs a quick, free land-measurement conversion — landowners, buyers, agents, students, or anyone trying to make sense of a number written in Bigha or Biswa. No account or sign-up is needed.
A note on accuracy: Traditional units such as Bigha, Biswa and Biswansi can vary by district, local practice and revenue convention. This tool is meant to help you estimate and understand these measurements — for any legal, registration, sale, purchase or boundary matter, please verify the applicable figure through official Rajasthan land records or the relevant revenue authority.
Our focus
We keep this site deliberately narrow: one tool, done as well as we can, rather than a large collection of unrelated calculators. If you have feedback on the calculator or notice something that doesn’t look right, you’re welcome to get in touch.
